A family home in Ivanhoe was due for a kitchen laundry and powder room upgrade.  Old vinyl cabinetry doors had started to peel and the laundry was never well fit-out.

New spotted gum floors replaced the 1990’s floor tiles, with all new cabinetry for the kitchen, laundry and powder room.

The kitchen with is dark grey blue cabinetry adds interest to the open kitchen dining family room.  An existing structural post in the kitchen area needed to be retained but was built out to give the illusion of being centred in the kitchen island.  Well-designed storage complete with built-in wine refrigerator, make this kitchen a pleasure to work in.

In the laundry, a small wall of built in cabinetry including a hidden hamper, hanging rail and appliances maximize the use of space. Beautiful handmade Spanish wall tiles are a feature.

The adjacent power room gives the illusion of space with concealed cistern and a small neat wall hung basin.
